These terms cover your use of the ChainYourMac app and this website. Short version: buy a license, use it on the number of Macs it covers, and be reasonable — we'll do the same.

License

When you purchase ChainYourMac you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on the number of Macs your tier covers (1, 3, 5, or 20). The license is perpetual and includes all future updates at no extra cost. You may move an activation to a different Mac at any time by deactivating it in the app first.

You may not resell, redistribute, or share your license key, and you may not reverse-engineer or attempt to circumvent the app's licensing.

Purchases

Sales are processed by Gumroad. If the app isn't working for you, email support — most issues are quick to fix and we'll help you get set up.

Requirements & permissions

ChainYourMac requires macOS 13 Ventura or later and the macOS Accessibility permission, which it uses solely to manage windows. See the privacy policy for exactly what data the app does and doesn't handle.

Warranty disclaimer

ChainYourMac is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app. That said — if something breaks, tell us and we'll fix it.

Changes

We may update these terms; changes will be posted on this page with a new date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
